You do not need to buy anything to use Apelora Fabric, including in a company. Services add people and time. We have not published prices: each service is quoted for your environment.

Integration, training and larger deployments are custom services, quoted separately. Response times, hours and channels for support are written in each quote.
These are the settings of an engagement, and what we ask about first. Nothing here is priced or promised until you have a written quote.
| Setting | Deployment | Support |
|---|---|---|
| Servers | How many are installed and validated | How many are covered |
| Environments | Lab, staging, production: which ones | Which are covered, and which are not |
| Storage and network | Local disks, shared storage, OVN, VLANs: what is set up and checked | What we need to know to diagnose |
| Sign-in and roles | Identity provider, local accounts or a directory; roles and approvals | Who may contact us, and for which environments |
| Internet access | Connected, or without internet access with image mirrors | How logs and the support bundle reach us |
| Coverage | The length of the engagement and what is handed over | Hours, channels and response times, written in your quote |
| Term | One engagement | A subscription for a stated period |
Have these answers ready, or not: ask about a deployment or about support and we will go through them with you.
No. The whole software is available under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3. Anyone can use it, including companies, as long as they follow the licence.
Yes. Being a business does not require anything extra. The AGPL asks that if you modify the software and let other people use your modified version over a network, you offer them its source. Read the licence summary and the full licence text, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure how it applies to you.
No. Services add our time: installation, support, training, integration. There is one edition of the software, and no feature is held back for customers.
Every environment is different, and the services have not been priced yet. We quote after a short conversation about your servers, network, storage and how you operate. Until then the answer is "request a quote", not a guess.
No. A quote states the price, what it includes, taxes, any expenses and how they are limited, payment terms, how long it lasts, whether it renews, and how to cancel and what you get back, before you accept it. Nothing is charged before you accept, and nothing is charged for a demo or a quote. See refunds and cancellation.
Not yet. It is in early development and has been tested on a four-server lab, not on real servers. We will discuss your use, and what the software is ready for, before recommending anything. See the roadmap.
How many servers, what storage and network, who needs access. We will tell you what Apelora does for that today and what it does not.
