Terms of use

The rules for using this website and its documentation. The software and the paid services have their own terms.

Last updated 25 October 2026. All legal pages.

These pages describe how this website and our quotes work today. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the terms in a written quote take precedence.

What these terms cover

These terms cover your use of this website and the documentation on it. They do not cover:

  • The software. Apelora Fabric is released under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 only. That licence, not this page, says what you may do with the code.
  • Paid services (deployment, support, training, custom work). Each is agreed in a written quote or agreement that states what is included, the price, how long it lasts and how it ends. If it differs from this page, the quote wins for that service.

The information on this site

  • The site describes an open-source project in early development. Each claim says how it was checked (see the evidence labels); a claim marked as tested on a lab was not tested on your equipment. Check anything that matters in your own environment before you rely on it.
  • We aim to keep the pages correct and current, but they are provided as they are, without a promise that they are complete or free of mistakes. Tell us about a mistake and we will correct it.
  • Nothing here is legal, financial or security advice for your situation.

Using the site

  • You may read, link to and quote the pages. Documentation text and screenshots belong to the project; reuse them as the licence of the repository allows, and keep the notices that come with them.
  • Do not attack the site or the contact form, send automated or abusive messages through it, or use it to send us anything unlawful. We may block a sender who does.
  • The names and logos are covered under names and logos. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.

Prices, quotes and fees

Nothing on this site can be bought, and no payment is taken here. We have not published prices; each service is quoted for your environment. A quote states the price, what it includes and excludes, taxes, expenses, payment terms, how long it lasts, whether and how it renews, and how it can be cancelled and refunded, before you accept it. You owe nothing for a quote or a demo. See refunds and cancellation.

The site links to other sites, such as GitHub and the upstream projects' pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

Responsibility

We are responsible for what the law says we cannot exclude, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that cannot be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the information on this site, or from a page being unavailable. The terms of each paid service say what we owe you under it.

Governing law

The law and courts that apply to a paid service are written in its quote or agreement. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights your local law gives you.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date above shows the latest version; earlier versions are in the history of the site's repository. A change does not alter an agreement you have already made for a paid service.
